Winter at D.V. Cain's_0012 - #1214

"An original ghost town from the late 1800's. Bodie stands today in a state of "arrested decay". So coined by the State of California when they took over the town in 1962 to make it a State Historic Park." (quote from from bodie.com)
Located nestled high in the eastern sierra mountains of California at the elevation of about 8500 ft. It is located just off of Hwy 395 near Bridgeport, CA.
Acrey took this Bodie series of photos on in the fall of 2008 - the weather was about 20 degrees and colder all day with intermittent snow storms and sun. She was able to enter some of the buildings and get some great indoor shots as well
